Hey, it's TJ Ahn. If you ever left a weekend cadaver lab feeling excited but wondering, could I really go back Monday and do this on a live patient? Well, you're not alone. I've been there. That's exactly why we created the MIS intensive program. So let me be clear this is not just another weekend course and it's not a board certification. We're not a board and this isn't governed by any formal medical authority.

The MIS intensive program is a rigorous, peer-reviewed mastery path built to help you become truly proficient in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery. You'll go through case submissions, cadaver exams, live lab training and receive direct mentorship from experienced MIS surgeons. When you complete each level, you'll earn a certificate of completion, a recognition of what you've actually achieved, approved by your peers and instructors. It's not a participation award. This is a milestone that means something and you'll be proud to display it. The MIS intensive program is structured into three progressive levels, each one focused on real proficiency, not just theory. Level one focuses on foundational procedures such as hammer toes, lesser metatarsal osteotomies and essential soft tissue techniques, which you can do every week and doctors are succeeding with it. Dr Martha Hoseworth joined in December 2024 and passed within seven months. Dr Alex Kim completed level one in just six months Dr Dora Akil, dr Karen Lee, dr Julie Abood, dr Thomas Lehman they all succeeded and completed within six to eight months. Now they just didn't show up. They followed the system, submitted the cases, passed their cadaver lab exams and now perform these procedures with confidence.

To complete level one, you'll finish the MIFAS accelerator online course. You will attend three private cadaver labs or two private lab plus one advanced lab that we host. You submit five planned and five completed cases and you'll pass a cadaver practical exam in one of those private labs One hamartoe and one lesser metatarsal. Then you'll earn your white MIS coat and and your certificate of completion. Level two is where you focus on advanced osteotomies and other techniques like bunionectomies, hallux limitus and rigidus corrections. So doctors like Dr Anna Kuprieva and Dr Ashim Wadera have already completed this level. They're confidently performing these surgeries in their practices now with excellent outcomes. So to complete level two, you will attend two private cadaver labs, performing these surgeries in their practices, now with excellent outcomes. So to complete level 2, you will attend two private cadaver labs and one advanced lab. You will submit five planned and five completed first-ray or bunion cases. Of course, you will pass a cadaver practical exam, performing a bunion procedure of your choice, and you'll earn your blue MIS coat and your level two certificate of completion.

Level three is where you go from operator or surgeon to instructor. You'll assist in private cadaver labs. You'll help teach at our annual international MIS conference. You'll be evaluated on leadership and instruction inside the lab and in our OSO community. Doctors like Dr Helene, dr Lawrence Kales, dr Brian Lee, dr Timothy Shea have already reached this level and they're now helping shape the future of MIS education. To complete level three, you'll attend three labs, including at least one as a teaching cadaver lab instructor at our private lab. You will also support at one international MIFAS cadaver lab conference. You will demonstrate leadership, instruction and active community participation community participation and, of course, you'll earn your gray MIS coat and your level three certificate of completion. So when you're approved and enrolled in the MIS intensive program, here's what you get Three private cadaver labs scheduled across 12 months.

Only Level 2 and Level 3 program graduates will be eligible. Now this is not just a pay to list directory, but also it's a vetted community of doctors who've done the work and earned the recognition.
